Bachelors in Optometry

  • Four year program  ( 3 years of academic training and  1 year of clinical internship ) for the
    XII Science students

Short-term comprehensive fellowship programs

A1 Year short-term comprehensive fellowship program is also available in clinical diagnostics to the 3 year diploma holder Or 4  year degree holder in Optometry from a reputed institution in order to improvise on the clinical skills. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants should have completed their  XII Science with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Mathematics - Optional).
  • 10% seats reserved for those students who have an Optical / Ophthalmology background.
 Selection Criteria
  • Min 40% Marks in HSC ( PCB ).
  • Selection procedure include Optometric  Admission Test ( OAT ) based on XII STD   syllabus. Interview is conducted to assess motivation , aptitude , general knowledge and communicative skills. 

Fee Structure

Tuition Fees:

  • 1ST YEAR = Rs.85,000
  • 2ND YEAR = Rs.75,000
  • 3RD YEAR = Rs.75,000
  • 4TH YEAR = Rs.65,000
  • CAUTION DEPOSIT = Rs.10.000 (REFUNDABLE AFTER 4 YEARS)

Note:

6000 /- excluded for non- University student.

APPLICATION FORM – RS.600
EXAM FEE – Rs.10,000 SHOULD BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE UNIVERSITY THROUGH BANK

Overseas students

  • FIRST 3 YEARS = 95,000/PER YR
  • 4TH YEAR = Rs.95,000

Refund:

  • Withdrawal from the course will not entitle the student for refund of caution deposit at any cost. In case of cancellation of admission 75% of the fees will be refunded within 15 days. After 15 days to 3 months 50% of the fees will be refunded.
  • After 3 months fees will not be refunded.
